According to Facebook's blog, this bug has come on the social media platform from September 13 to September 25. Due to this API bug, users have been affected specifically, who have given permissions to some third party app through Facebook. Accounts of users who have not given permission to third party applications are not affected. From these users who has given permission to third party apps to access thei photos their photos have been leaked.

Remove third party apps from Facbook like this

But, you can easily remove third party applications from your Facebook profile. To delete these third party apps from your Facebook, you first have to go to your Facebook app. After this you will have to log in to your account. After this, the three lines on the right side of the app will have to be tapped.

After taping, tap on the settings and privacy option you will see. After tapping on the settings, you will see the security option. In the security you will see the option of the application and the website, tap on it.

You will see the preference selections in the application and website option. In the prefernes you will see an edit button, tap it. On taping the edit button, you will see it turn off option. You can stop third party applications from accessing Facebook as soon as you tap on Turn Off.
