Lock Whatsapp From Face Or Touch ID

Facebook's proprietary messaging app, WhatsApp, has supported biometric authentication on its iOS platform. This will allow the user to lock the app via Face ID and Touch ID. However, this feature will not work on a per chat basis. By enabling this feature, users' private WhatsApp messages will be locked through Face ID and Touch ID. This feature is rollout with WhatsApp 2.19.20 version.

Learn how to use this feature?

First of all, iOS users will have to download WhatsApp 2.19.20 version. After that go to the settings and go to the account. Now the privacy lock will need to be turned on. Keeping the iPhone X or above will have FaceID facility. At the same time, the iPhone below will be made available to the TouchID or passcode. However, users will be able to reply to the message from the lock screen notification just like before. Also, you can also reply to WhatsApp calls without any authentication.

This feature introduced for Android users:

WhatsApp has released a new feature for Android users. Under this, users will be able to download a single sticker from the entire pack of stickers. However, it is currently available for the Android beta version 2.19.33 only. Earlier, WhatsApp users had to download the full pack due to a sticker. But now with new updates, users will be able to download a sticker from the entire pack.
